Statesboro won the last time they faced Bradwell Institute and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Statesboro easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17.

Callie Simmons paced Statesboro's offense, picking up nine kills. Simmons got some help from Phoebe Hansen and her 24 assists. Olyana Deckard controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Statesboro's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Bradwell Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-15.

Statesboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Pace Academy on the 27th. As for Bradwell Institute, they will face off against Tattnall County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
