McIntosh is 7-1 against Drew since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The McIntosh Chiefs will be playing in front of their home fans against Drew at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
McIntosh pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Northside. McIntosh has not had much luck with Northside recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Drew's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Northgate on the road and fell 69-29. While losing is never fun, Drew can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 507th, while Northgate is ranked 173rd).
McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Drew, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
