Teurlings Catholic was handed a 15-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Vermilion Patriots, sneaking past 9-7. With that victory, the Rebels brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Bailee Hebert was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in February.

In other batting news, Mia Smith and Kylie Boutte did most of the damage at the plate: Smith scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Boutte scored two runs while going 1-for-5. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Kling, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Teurlings Catholic moved to 10-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Vermilion, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Teurlings Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-6 victory against South Beauregard on the 21st. As for North Vermilion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-3 defeat against Assumption on the 22nd.
