The Jordan-Matthews Jets''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 26-7 bruising from Seaforth. Jordan-Matthews lost against Seaforth in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 20-0 score last time.
Raje Torres threw for 26 yards on six of 14 attempts. Gabriel Brewer was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards and no touchdowns. On the ground, Neil Wiley rushed for 50 yards.
The critical scores for Seaforth came from Dane O'neill, Ace Weissenberger, and Jackson Powell.
Jordan-Matthews' loss was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.3 points per game. As for Seaforth, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
Jordan-Matthews will face off against Graham at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. Graham comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Seaforth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bartlett Yancey at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Bartlett Yancey is ranked 360th, while Seaforth is ranked 374th).
