Blake Bryant posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Bryant's strong effort led Citizens Christian Academy over Westwood and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
