The All Saints' Academy Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Frostproof Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, All Saints' Academy made easy work of Vanguard and carried off a 52-26 win.
All Saints' Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jaelen Randall, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds, and Claudarius Bell, who scored 19 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Bell has scored at least 25% of All Saints' Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Ebrahim, who scored 9 points.
Meanwhile, Frostproof took their contest at home on Monday with ease, bagging a 75-48 victory over Tenoroc. The win was just what Frostproof needed coming off of a 94-73 loss in their prior matchup.
Sevastian Rosado had a dynamite game for Frostproof, scoring 41 points along with 5 steals. The game was Rosado's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Daiveon Pittman, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
All Saints' Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Frostproof, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. All Saints' Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 62 points per game. It's a different story for Frostproof, though, as they've been averaging only 69.3 per game.
