Nashville won against Roxana on Monday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Highland Bulldogs with a sharp 9-3 victory. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Nashville's third in a row) raised their record to 22-1. As for Highland, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Coming up, Nashville will square off against Okawville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Highland, they will head out to take on Civic Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
