The Logan Grizzlies will square off against the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Crimson Cliffs will be up against a hot Logan squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Grizzlies blew past Layton 14-1 on Monday.

Cambree Cooper made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Taryn Craner was a standout: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Jayzanna Pauni was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
Logan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 13-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Crimson Cliffs walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Panthers on Saturday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Nyah Snyder was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Maylee Dunkley, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Crimson Cliffs pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 17-11.
Both Logan and Crimson Cliffs just can't seem to miss. The Grizzlies have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Crimson Cliffs struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.3 hits.
