Leading Pinecrest Academy Cadence to victory were Elijah Engfer and Jeremiah Maurer. Engfer scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Maurer almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Maurer pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Martinique Brown, who scored ten points.
Pinecrest Academy Cadence's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Malachi Jabal got a bit more time on the court (19 vs. his season average of 10.09). Jabal made the most of the opportunity, scoring seven points along with 13 rebounds. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
