Greg Simpson touchdown run in the second quarter, the Aviators led 14-7 at the half.
Sycamore expanded its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored once in the quarter on a Simpson touchdown run.
Nick Gasser made a difference for the Thunderhawks. The junior kicked one extra point.
The Cincinnati school's most effective player was Simpson. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns.
Lakota East's lone touchdown came on a 21-yard run in the second quarter.
The Aviators went into the matchup giving up only 15.5 points per game.
Sycamore also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 28-25.
The loss comes after Lakota East defeated Hamilton 56-0 last week.
Lakota East (5-2) will play a Greater Miami game against Mason next week, while Sycamore (6-1) will take on Princeton also in a Greater Miami game.
