The Glenrock Herders will head out on the road to face off against the Newcastle Dogies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newcastle took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Glenrock, who comes in off a win.
Glenrock scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Moorcroft, posting a 79-39 victory at home. The win was just what Glenrock needed coming off of a 59-29 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Newcastle's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Buffalo 60-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Newcastle has scored all season.
Glenrock's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Newcastle, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Glenrock was able to grind out a solid victory over Newcastle when the teams last played back in March of 2023, winning 50-39. Does Glenrock have another victory up their sleeve, or will Newcastle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
