The Haverford School Fords are on the road again on Friday and play against the Academic Magnet Raptors at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th. Academic Magnet took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Haverford School, who comes in off a win.
Haverford School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Father Judge and snuck past 75-73. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Academic Magnet's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 82-25 defeat at the hands of North Raleigh Christian Academy.
The victory got Haverford School back to even at 5-5. As for Academic Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
