Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Middlesboro Yellowjackets walked away with it. They took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 51-8 victory over Lynn Camp. The win was familiar territory for Middlesboro who now have six in a row.
Middlesboro's victory was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-9 Lynn Camp and 3-9 Lynn Camp (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.9% over those games). As for Lynn Camp, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Middlesboro will play host again and welcome Paintsville, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Lynn Camp does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
