Durango had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. At bat, Desoto went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI, while Mercurius got on base in five of his seven plate appearances with one home run and one double. Those three hits gave Desoto a new career-high.
