North Brunswick kept up with Hoggard until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Vikings put the hurt on the Scorpions with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Hoggard, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Hoggard's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six contests. As for North Brunswick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hoggard and North Brunswick will both be playing Laney the next time they take the pitch. The Vikings will head out to face the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Scorpions will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
