Fountain Hills won the last time they faced Scottsdale Preparatory Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Spartans.

The team relied heavily on Kainoa Brilhante, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Zion Sidhu, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Fountain Hills' win bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Fountain Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Camp Verde at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Cowboys have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.86 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Glendale Prep Academy at 11:00 a.m. The Griffins' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
