Baseball Recap: Executive Education Academy Charter School Wins Going Away Against High Point Baptist Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame-Green Pond, Executive Education Academy Charter School was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the High Point Baptist Academy Eagles with a sharp 13-3 win. With that victory, the Raptors brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Oscar Roa made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Randiel Araujo was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Josue Rodriguez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Executive Education Academy Charter School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Executive Education Academy Charter School moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for High Point Baptist Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Executive Education Academy Charter School will host Weatherly at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Weatherly has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.14 runs per game on average), something Executive Education Academy Charter School will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for High Point Baptist Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against La Academia Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
