The Forgan Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Turpin 60-9. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Forgan has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Turpin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gunner Post, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Bryson Parker, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Forgan dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Turpin, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
Forgan will head out on the road to take on Balko at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Balko presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Forgan in Oklahoma (Balko is ranked 132nd, while Forgan is ranked 474th). As for Turpin, they will be playing at home against Sharon-Mutual at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday. Sharon-Mutual is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
