The Beaver Bobcats won the last time they faced the Central Valley Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Beaver came out on top against Central Valley by a score of 63-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Beaver.
Brady Mayo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Beaver's points. Another player making a difference was Junior Marino, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Beaver back to even at 9-9. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver will take on Blackhawk at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blackhawk has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29. Central Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hopewell at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th.
