The Beech Buccaneers came tearing into Friday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 66-27 win over Mount Juliet at home. With Beech ahead 35-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Bailey Ford, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Carson Sisk was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Beech used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Mount Juliet. And. Savannah Walmer made the most of the opportunity, scoring two points along with five rebounds. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Beech is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Mount Juliet, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
