The Carmel Padres scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 92-52 victory over Palma. The victory was nothing new for Carmel as they're now sitting on six straight.
Carmel was led to victory by Simeon Brown and Warren Blut. Brown scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Blut scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The contest was Brown's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Hudson Rutherford was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Carmel's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Palma, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Carmel will head out on the road to face off against Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 705th, while Carmel is ranked 136th). As for Palma, they will be playing at home against Everett Alvarez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
