The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mountain Crest, who took down sixth ranked Logan, 17-10.
The Mustangs extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 5 this week by beating the Grizzlies, 17-10. The win marks fifth in a row for the Mountain Crest.
Sky View's dynamic duo of Braxton Godderidge and Daniel Lemon proved tough for Roy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Godderidge threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns and Lemon had 135 yards receiving. Ethan Dursteler helped Sky View's passing attack out by catching three balls for 56 yards.
Sam Bennion made the biggest impact on defense this week as Logan lost to Mark Wootton's team. The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman grabbed 1.0 sack.
Kyler Allen was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 110 yards on 23 carries as Box Elder defeated the Royals. Shad Watson also contributed to the rushing game with 39 yards on the ground.
Mike Favero's team's Luke Falk and Taylor Compton have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Falk has thrown for 2726 yards this season, while Compton, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 77 catches for 863 yards. The Bees' Allen leads the league in rushing yards with 613.
The marquee game in 4A Region 5 this week will be the clash between the Grizzlies and Box Elder. Logan comes into the matchup ranked eighth in the state, while Robbie Gunter's team ranks 16th.
Entering into this week's contest against Bonneville, Godderidge is short just 15 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season. So far this year, Godderidge has thrown for 1985 yards with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Grizzlies take on the Bees. Logan's offense has racked up 279 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Box Elder has allowed only 103 on the year.
