The Calvary Christian Warriors will face off against the Palmetto Tigers at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of five wins, Calvary Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gibbs. Calvary Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ace Taylor, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and six assists, and Ethan Sabec who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Madden Geiger was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Palmetto suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Berkeley Prep, falling 72-41. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Palmetto has scored all season.
