Boise played in-conference for the first time on Thursday and got just the result they were looking for. Everything went their way against the Meridian Warriors as they made off with a 15-2 win. With that victory, the Brave brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Aidric Bird looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Those hits marked the first that he allowed this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brody Newbery, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.
