Foothill's last matchup with Southeast Career Tech could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Falcons came up short against the Roadrunners, falling 18-6. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Hailey Gilbertson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Southeast Career Tech, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foothill will head out to take on Las Vegas at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.29 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Southeast Career Tech, they are taking a road trip to face off against Chaparral at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday. The Roadrunners are facing the Cowboys at the right time seeing as the Cowboys are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
