Cherokee Trail relied on the efforts of Nathan Baack, who scored 15 points, and Braylen Thomas, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordan Mitchell , who scored five points.
Broomfield's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cherokee Trail, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.
Tuesday's match is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Broomfield have been dynamite from deep this season, having drained 43.8% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Cherokee Trail struggles in that department as they've drained 43.5% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
