Davenport has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Celebration Storm at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Celebration took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Davenport, who comes in off a win.
Davenport stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Osceola 57-23 on the road. The win was just what Davenport needed coming off of a 57-33 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Celebration's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 40-26 to Liberty. The match was a 15-15 toss-up at halftime, but Celebration couldn't quite close it out.
Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Celebration, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
Everything came up roses for Davenport against the Storm when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 55-25 victory. With Davenport ahead 36-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
