Paradise Honors and Estrella Foothills are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Paradise Honors comes in on five and Estrella Foothills on four.
If Paradise Honors beats Estrella Foothills with nine runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Panthers came out on top against Greenway by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday.
Jack Moore made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Another player making a difference was Tucker Klingshei, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
Paradise Honors was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Estrella Foothills got the win against Cactus on Wednesday by a conclusive 14-2. Considering the Wolves have won 11 contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Paradise Honors, Estrella Foothills also got a great game from a two-way player: Jayson Ross. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Ross was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Estrella Foothills is undefeated when Ross posts two or more runs, but 9-10 otherwise.
In other batting news, Landon Sloan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Estrella Foothills' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-10 when he doesn't). Josh Vargas was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Paradise Honors pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Estrella Foothills, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Paradise Honors has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .464. However, it's not like Estrella Foothills struggles in that department as they've averaged .447. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Paradise Honors came up short against Estrella Foothills in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 9-4. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
