Lassiter came into Tuesday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a set and slipped past the Cambridge Bears 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since August 14th.

Lassiter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 15-13.

Lassiter's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Cambridge, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coincidentally, Lassiter and Cambridge will both be playing Northview the next time they take the court. The Trojans will host the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
