Notre Dame Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Gonzalez, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Gonzalez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Gibbs, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Bunnell dropped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.8 points per game. As for Notre Dame Catholic, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.
