The Lamar Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Bowie Volunteers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
After failing to score in their last contest, Lamar made sure to put some goals up on the board against Arlington on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 4-1 win. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Lamar was the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, Bowie has not won a game since January 17th, a trend which continued on Tuesday. They and South Grand Prairie finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Bowie has been dealt a draw since back in January.
The victory got Lamar back to even at 3-3-1. Bowie's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-3.
