While Canarsie put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Wingate. The Wolfpack put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 17-0 win. Considering the Wolfpack have won six matches by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Canarsie pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Wingate, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Wingate has already played their next game, a 24-0 defeat against Brooklyn Studio on the 1st. Hopefully Canarsie paid attention to the Generals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Generals at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
