On Saturday, The Highland Huskies never let their opponents score. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Flatirons Academy 52-0 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Highland as they're now sitting on four straight.
Issac Desantiago was on fire: he rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards. Desantiago was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. Jakey Wares was in the mix as well, providing Highland with two touchdowns.
Highland now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Flatirons Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Highland will look to defend their home field on Friday against Manual at 7:00 p.m. Manual will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Flatirons Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Estes Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Estes Park will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
