Grain Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Lee's Summit North proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lee's Summit North not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Grain Valley between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Quentin Huhman paced Lee's Summit North's offense, picking up 24 kills. Huhman got some help from Marshall Mosier and his 36 assists. Huhman was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Lee's Summit North's win bumped their record up to 26-6-1. As for Grain Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 21-8-1 record.
