The Moundridge Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oxford 94-26 on the road. The result was nothing new for Moundridge, who have now won four matchups by 32 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moundridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cammi Unruh, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Patrick, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Moundridge and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Oxford, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moundridge will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Marion at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Marion will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Moundridge is ranked 92nd). As for Oxford, they will head out on the road to face off against South Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
