This season hasn't been kind to the Raleigh HomeSchool Hawks, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were dealt a 68-37 loss at the hands of Wake Christian Academy on Tuesday. Raleigh HomeSchool lost against Wake Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 72-48 score last time.
Wake Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Beckett Coon, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for Coon. Brady Williams was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Raleigh HomeSchool's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Wake Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Raleigh HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against Mount Zion Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Zion Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Raleigh HomeSchool likes a good challenge. As for Wake Christian Academy, they will play host again and welcome Southeastern HomeSchool, where tip off is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Southeastern HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Monday.
