There's no place like home for the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 53-48 W over The Noble Academy on Monday. That's another feather in the cap for Rowe-Clark, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Rowe-Clark found their leader in underclassman Arnez Jones, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Jones has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. Taijuan Bloomingberg was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 13 rebounds and five blocks.
Rowe-Clark's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for The Noble Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rowe-Clark will face off against Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for The Noble Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Ogden International at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Ogden International knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully The Noble Academy likes a good challenge.
