The Corcoran Panthers came tearing into Friday's match with 17 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lindsay 78-39 at home. Corcoran has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 24 points or more this season.
Javon Bragg was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15 points for seven straight games. Izaiah Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six assists and four steals.
Corcoran's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Lindsay, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.
Corcoran will head out on the road to square off against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strathmore is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for Lindsay, they will be playing at home against the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
