Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weeki Wachee). They blew past the Tarpon Springs Spongers 83-46 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Leading Weeki Wachee to victory were Jayden Parent and Logan White. Parent went 6 for 12 on his way to 18 points and five steals, while White dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was White's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Isaiah Kellogg was another key player, putting up ten points.

Weeki Wachee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Tarpon Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
