Obion County is 0-10 against Westview since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Obion County Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Westview Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Obion County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Friday, Obion County didn't have too much trouble with South Fulton at home as they won 44-30. Given Obion County's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while South Fulton is ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Westview beat Henry County 41-33 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westview.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mccall Sims, who scored 16 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sims has scored at least 25% of Westview's points. Ashlee Brent was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Obion County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 18.33 points. As for Westview, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
