Volleyball Recap: Platteview Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Platteview won the last time they faced Lincoln Northwest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons.

Brooklyn Stehlik paced Platteview's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stehlik got some help from Kady Vanosdall and her 25 assists. Maddy Stukenholtz and Camille Carlson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Lincoln Northwest had strong showings from Savannah Martin, who had seven digs and five assists, and Lilly Keifer, who had eight digs and four assists.

Platteview is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Lincoln Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platteview will host Bennington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Northwest, they will be playing at home against Waverly on the 23rd.
