Friday just wasn't the day for The Vashon Island Pirates''s offense. They were dealt a 58-0 defeat at the hands of Bellevue Christian. Vashon Island's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bellevue Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tristan Drummond, who rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Drummond's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. Kaden Kivett also helped out as he racked up 105 rushing yards.
Vashon Island's loss was their fifth straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 2.8 points per game. As for Bellevue Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
Vashon Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bellevue Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
