Mischa Lue-Long and Mackenzie Delgado did most of the damage at the plate: Lue-Long went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Delgado got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles Lue-Long has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Riley Wood, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Monrovia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 11-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Monrovia's record is now 18-9-1. As for La Canada, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-10.
