Meanwhile, Troy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 34-14 loss at the hands of Sonora. Despite 171 more yards than Sonora, Troy couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ethan Mundt, who rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown. Declan Kai healey was another key contributor, picking up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Sunny Hills has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Troy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Sunny Hills might still be hurting after the 35-10 loss they got from Troy when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will Sunny Hills have more luck at home instead of on the road?
