Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paradise to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gazey Yates, who scored 21 points. Yates has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Channing Beauvais was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Paradise, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley View will take on Pilot Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pilot Point is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Paradise, they will be playing at home against Ponder at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
