London came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Orange Grove Bulldogs 12-2. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by exactly ten runs.

RJ Olivares was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Olivares was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Aiden Salinas was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Zachary Tyrone also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

London's record is now 18-6. As for Orange Grove, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-7-1.

Looking ahead, London will host Rockport-Fulton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Orange Grove, they will venture away from home to square off against San Diego at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vaqueros' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
