The Legacy Charter Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to First Academy 26-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Legacy Charter has scored all season.
First Academy was led to victory by Ashlyn Neiford and Molly Beliveau. Neiford scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Beliveau scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Beliveau has scored all season.
Legacy Charter has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for First Academy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Legacy Charter on the road again on Wednesday and play against Trinity Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for First Academy, they will be playing at home against Seven Rivers Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Seven Rivers Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than First Academy in Florida (Seven Rivers Christian is ranked 218th, while First Academy is ranked 521st).
