Baseball Recap: Regis' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Regis came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Waldport Irish with a sharp 15-1 victory on Thursday. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Owen Eaton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Eaton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Korben Schumacher was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Rook Smith was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Regis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Regis' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.
