They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Emily Youngs paced Tempe Prep's offense, picking up seven kills. Youngs got some help from Ella Buettner and her ten assists. Hazel Andersson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Tempe Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tempe Prep will challenge Trivium Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crimson Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Arizona Lutheran Academy at 6:00 p.m.
