Kalyn Ellison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

As for Cumby, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
